Easy_E1 06-08-2009, 03:19 AM Here are some sneak peeks of AZLizards 2005 MT Greddy Turbo install by BHR. This install is not complete but here are some of the fitting steps.
The Blue is the finished kit color though. I hope you all like as much as AZLizard does. SAMCO couplers (Gloss Black) and T-Clamps yet to be put on. A pinch here and a pinch there.

NYC Drift King 06-08-2009, 05:21 AM Good shit bro.
mysql101 06-08-2009, 07:03 AM looking good!
people should refer to these photos when asking about how the aem intake fits with a greddy kit. I had the same tilt to my intercooler to allow my cai (that Jeff made for me) down in that area without removing the bumper bar.
SideOfBacon 06-08-2009, 07:54 AM this thread gets :icon_tup: :icon_tup:

Not if you use the supplied Greddy intake system. That ends up in the Air Box Tray. We installed an AEM CAI and for that the intercooler must be lowered down and tilted.
Couple more pics,,,

05rex8 06-08-2009, 06:53 PM very nice, love the blue
the black HKS BOV is tight too
a greddy strut bar powder coated in that same blue would look sweet too imo :)
Mawnee 06-08-2009, 08:25 PM Nice Torbo! :D:
I would SO cut the Factory Airbox to fit over that part of the piping....awesome stealth potential!

I've have this same stuff on my strut bar and intake for over a year now. No fading and it can take 500 degree temps.
Don't ask what it is because I'm not going to tell you. It's top secret. :evil_laug

No. But it almost worked. Send me your parts and I'll do them up for you. Red, Green, Purple, Blue.
Brettus 06-08-2009, 11:46 PM Curious - why do you have a check valve on the vac. line to the BOV ?
Easy_E1 06-08-2009, 11:51 PM Curious - why do you have a check valve on the vac. line to the BOV ?
It's actually a small air filter. No valving at all. Greddy say's to install it so I did.
Flashwing 06-08-2009, 11:54 PM Wow that charge pipe turned out really great Easy! Scott is still running the stock exhaust and with the turbo the car was nearly silent!
This RX8 is a true sleeper for sure. You'd never know what this thing was running till you see the taillights!
azlizard 06-09-2009, 12:02 AM I took my son for a ride when I got home and he was grinning from ear to ear :)
09Factor 06-09-2009, 09:50 AM Just a temporary thing until all the Samco couplers show. With the T-Bolt clamps.
I know BHR dosen't half ass any job. just making sure AzLizard knows its a POS.
Ask me how i know,.
Why not the Camo or Silver Samco couplers?
Flashwing 06-09-2009, 09:57 AM I was trying to talk Scott into the blazing couplers but he insisted on black!
lepichichi 06-09-2009, 10:45 AM nice job!

YaXMaNGTO 06-09-2009, 03:23 PM It's pretty, especially for a bunch of butchers, hacks and retards.
\\Konig\\ 06-09-2009, 05:45 PM if the stock engine cover and airbox were put on it would look ALMOST completely stealth, but i cant figure out how to hide the BOV since even with all the covers on it sticks out a bit on the side.
someone needs to find a way to hide it somehow!
azlizard 06-09-2009, 06:13 PM I know BHR dosen't half ass any job. just making sure AzLizard knows its a POS.

I kinda want to go stealth, but it would be too much work for me to go OEM looking now....move water/meth kit to the trunk, modify stock airbox, hide Sohn omp tank in OEM battery box, move catch can, etc etc
azlizard 06-13-2009, 02:06 PM Did someone say stealth :), thanks for the inspiration dave.

azlizard 06-13-2009, 03:17 PM Thanks Dave??!?!!?
;)
Yeah that's who I was talking to last night that gave me the idea, now that you posted up I seem to remember him mentioning you.
So thanks to you too!!! :)
No - too late.... the moment is past.
09Factor 06-13-2009, 08:58 PM The couplers that GReddy includes are better than they used to be as they are multi-laminate nylon-corded but we still wanted to outfit the install with black couplers and T-Bolt clamps.
Well that is good to know.
