Condition makes a big difference. Maintenance records are important. Prices have been plumeting for used cars, just like everything else. I saw the ask price for a 2004 40K GT mint condition go from $17.5K to $12.5K in the last quarter of last year. If you are serious about buying an 8, take your time, drive them, and get a PPI on the one you want. There are plenty available in all variations of trim, so be patient and you'll find the right one. zugnokorr 04-29-2009, 03:48 PM Well for 11,500 I got a 2004 GT, with a standard tranny, that has 64k on it and all the service records, and not one scratch anywhere, and runs like a champ. ps2gamer02 04-29-2009, 04:49 PM the yellow rx8 im really interested in has black leather an its a 6speed duno if it a GT or not tho from pics its look like its in mint condition REsuperD 04-29-2009, 04:54 PM leather = gt 16 is way high ps2gamer02 04-29-2009, 05:03 PM whats a good price? i wanna trade my car in its a toyota camry 99 with 133000 with a loud lifter lol but i owe 2k still on the car :( car has been nuttin but problems since day 1. BigMikeATL 05-21-2009, 11:45 AM Your best bet is to look at pricing on cars.com, craigslist, and ebay. Find the model and year you are looking for, then you can come up with a price range. Dealer pricing will almost always be a bit higher due to their overheads. If the Camry has been such a problem, it sounds like you should trade that in for whatever you can get (even if it's a small loss). With that said, do yourself a big favor and get an extended warranty or find a private seller that has a transferable warranty. 05TouringRX8 05-21-2009, 03:50 PM I just got a spotless 05 Touring in WWP with a/t for 13500 with 43k miles and all maint records. Also had a few extras like tint, rotary accents, newer than stock tires. Everyone that has seen this car has commented that they had no idea it was a used car. I think I got a great deal but I'm not sure how many of them are out there. I went through a lot in this price range before I found one that didn't have some sort of questionnable history when I ran a check on the VINs. Anything over that for an 04 unless it has more options/packages or really low miles is probably too much. rXter 06-15-2009, 07:27 PM I just got a spotless 05 Touring in WWP with a/t for 13500 with 43k miles and all maint records.
