Insurance by phone FTW
Just gonna tell you guys to always, ALWAYS call your insurance company, get a live person on the phone, and ask them what discounts you are eligible for. Websites won't show you everything.
I'll be paying less than 80 bucks a month for full coverage insurance on my new car. It only took a 15 minute call to Progressive to get serious coin taken off my 6-month premium.
EFT + Paperless billing- I get an email instead of a bill in the mail- about 20 bucks
College student- over 100 dollars!
Odometer discount- up to 15% if you don't drive a lot of miles (will vary every 6 months depending on how much you drive)
By the time I was done I wanted to stick my dick through the phone and **** the chick on the other end to express my gratitude.
Hey, it's money in your pocket, and worst case scenario is you still pay the same premium.
