Zepo. 04-22-2009, 10:26 PM First thing i did was get rid of the ugly halogens. The kit I bought was 55$ shipped off ebay. They were actually selling for cheaper. I ordered 6000k and it came in an Xentec box, which i guess was the brand. Plug and play installation and 2 year warranty (Hopefully).

myriadshalaks 04-22-2009, 10:51 PM nice. you should change the parking lights next.

I bought the bulbs to do that but then got lazy and put them in the license plate / glovebox. I heard it's really hard to replace those.
i want to do this.
The kit was only 55$ shipped and the same ones were auctioning off for around 40$ so its win-win. Installation took about an hour for both.
Aipex8 04-22-2009, 11:19 PM I heard it's really hard to replace those.
Not at all, it's actually very easy.
pdxhak 04-22-2009, 11:27 PM Aipex8 swapped in LEDs on my parking lights in less than 5 minutes. But he is a pro so your mileage may vary :lol2:
myriadshalaks 04-22-2009, 11:40 PM took me about 20 minutes to do the parking lights. my hand got stuck on the passenger side for a bit there.
you should make a diy for your footwell lights. 10 bucks, eh?

Its not that clean, if i redo the wiring i'll make a diy. Can you get to the parking lights from the under wheel well? From what i heard you have to go in from the engine bay.

yes, I did mine through the engine bay. It isn't that bad. If you have huge hands it will be hard, you just need to remove some covers (fuse box, ecu) and you'll be able to get them.
nvrfalter 04-23-2009, 12:02 AM if you know what you're doing it takes under 90 seconds to swap em.
driver side: reach in, twist, change bulb, twist
passenger side: unscrew ECU cover (3 screws), reach in, twist, change bulb, twist, re-attach ECU cover. done
philipchan 04-23-2009, 02:11 PM Good Job !

lepichichi 04-24-2009, 11:07 AM love the interior lighting :)
perks11 04-24-2009, 11:21 AM very nice! i like the look of the headlights, i just swapped out my parking lights and clear corners and it was not hard at all, the passenger sides a tight fit, but have a girl with small hands help you. I may have to do the headlight kit thought, my lights look kinda weird with the LEDs for parking lights and then the stock yellowish headlights. How hard were they to install etc

Really simple if you know how to replace the headlights. Just remove halogens, put in HIDs, mount the voltage converter, plug the hids into it, then connect the converter to the headlight wires. Took about an hour for both. It's a lot easier if you take off the wheel.
