So ive been having this problem ever since i bought my rx8, every time i redline it in 1st gear and i try to shift into 2nd gear fast it wont let me go in at all unless i shift really slow, idk what the problem is, so if anyone knows anything let me know

thats what i was thinking too but wasnt sure

i heard that taking first gear past 20 mph is mad for the transmission. don't take my word for it though..........what's syncros?

depends on how you can shift.

But generally tough time entering gears at high load means your synchros are getting worn. not necessary to replace but don't beat on the trans or it will get worse.

It only does that in 2nd gear when im trying to shift fast from 1st to 2nd, i only do that like once a day, am a see with my mechanic if he can get that fixed for me
