Saw my first yellow RX8 today.
I was passing Magna Mazda at Downton near Salisbury and a yellow RX8 was being manouvered around the car park.
IMO the yellow looks too pale bit like VW Lupo yellow.
Some of the pics I've seen look good because the yellow is much stronger in them(not that I'd buy a yellow car), but I suppose it did catch my eye as I wasn't registering that I was going past a Mazda garage at the time but I spotted the 8 nevertheless.
Couldn't see it on the way back as I was going to stop and take a pic.

Maybe it was covered in wax or something but it looked odd.

I ordered yellow originally. After seeing photos on the web of the yellow I also noticed it was too pale and switched to red.

Very glad I did and enjoying my third day in the car. :)

yeah.... damn shame ..it does not photo well at all.

I saw my first couple of 8s at a dealer in germany (they've not arrived yet in my little corner of Sweden :-() last week, a black and a yellow. And I have to say I disagree: the yellow is not pale, it's quite fine actually, stronger than say a new Beetle (that one looks like 20yrs old from day 1). I didn't have yellow in my "possible" list, but now it is. Too bad Mazda don't do the black/yellow leather like in all the pre-release pics.
