Appears to be legit. And pretty interesting. Very curious how this would affect rotaries and if it's really anymore beneficial than thinning out the fuel with tuning.

Also since they quote the cost at $50 a piston it would be free for RX-8's... ;)

From a theoretical standpoint it makes sense. The more the fuel is "atomized" the more complete of a burn you should get, and therefore it should make a car more efficient. This might be more beneficial to a direct injected engine, but I'd be interested to see it tried on a current generation rotary :)

What they described holds, because it describes the very reason that FI works more efficiently than NA. However, the article was so brief and the "$50 a piston" claim so laughable, I have to believe that IF this ever makes it to market, it'll be a $1500 bolt on. :banghead:
