Question B stock wheels?

Just got an '06 sport about two months ago. Looking for wheels to run in B stock. Light, inexpensive. Any suggestions?

Here are some B Stock Legal wheels for the RX8

Light

Volk RE30 (16.5lbs) $779 each

OZ Ultraleggera (18.4lbs) $349 each

SSR Competition (17.5lbs) $348 each - discontinued

Inexpensive

Kazera KZ-L (21lbs) $169 each

MSW Type 16 (20.5lbs) $153 each

Stock (23lbs) about $100 per wheel, used, on this forum

As far as I know there isn't a wheel that meets both of those requirements.

Yes. Use the OEM wheels. Unless you're competing nationally or have a very good region you're not going to find anything significantly lighter than OEM that get labeled 'inexpensive'. There are very few lightweight wheels that fit the b-stock rules. Closest are the Rota P1s at 19lbs and under $1000 for a set.

Beyond that read through this thread and search out answers in the competition forum regarding b-stock legal mods.

Thanks for the info. 1000-1200 isn't really out of the question. Like the look of the SSR's. I know, light and inexpensive should not be used in the same sentence. Thanks

Rota P1s are 19 lbs even and $800 shipped per set from www.fuji-racing.com

They are only 1/2 lb heavier than the OZs that cost quite a bit more.
