im thinking about suspension for my future rx8.
...
i want something thats works much better than stock when handling corners either on the streets or in the canyon.
i dont want to lower the car too much, maybe 1-1.5 inches tops [i like keeping my cars practical].
& i also want ur opinions about coil-overs, shocks, etc.
- - or whatever kind of suspension parts worked for u on ur car, compared to OEM.
thank you.

Much better than stock? And practicality?
Once you get your future RX-8, drive it for a while before you think about doing suspension work. A stock RX-8 is quite capable through the twistys, I would say that it is one of the best things about it.
You wont find many springs or full suspension kits that drop you more than 1.5".

i was thinking about getting thesehttp://tanabe-usa.com/suspension/files/501_img1.jpg (http://tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/FIVE.asp)
it has a fairly nice drop and is gonna make my 8 swing like a fish through the twisties and canyons. i like stock right now but i want more adjustability.

I have the Racing Beat Front and Rear sway bars on my car now and love them. It corners so much better than stock. The racing beat springs lower the car around .5 inch. And for your adjustability i would get koni shocks or if you want even more adjustability get the tockio d=spec shocks. I would stay away from coilover unless you are going to track your car. The anti sway bars will help going through the twisties better than just springs and shocks

I have RB springs and sway bars with end links plus D-spec Tokico adjustable shocks with adjuster cables
I highly recommend this set-up for street use

by the time i do get an rx8 the new 2009 rx8 will probably b out already. if i do get the 09 model i wont change much of anything anymore with the bilstein suspension, well maybe front and rear strut bars.
but if i do get an 07/08 model i would of course want to first get used to the oem suspension/driving...... im only looking for opinions and experiences from others.

This thread is idiotic. Asking for suspension upgrades opinions for a car you don't have...
