Does it rev match or does he use a clutch?

When I was watching it I noticed how fast the shifts were.

its a sequential, there is no clutch.

afaik, they still blip the throttle when downshifting.

It's a Daytona Prototype 6 speed sequential shift gearbox. I got that off one of their tech cards I got at the VIR race.

Speedsource races in the GT class. Cmon now ray, I thought you were a race fan.

Daytona Prototype is the class they race in.

Daytona Prototype is the type of gearbox used. The DP cars have a special gearbox and SpeedSource just happens to use it. I can talk to Sylvain tomorrow if you would like...and they run in the GT class...wow.

probably around $40,000 - $50,000
