i actually have a bunch of things waiting to be installed - i'm just waiting for all of it to arrive so i can install them. I also have new wheels n' tires that're on their way. ETA on those are towards the middle of may tho. If all goes according to plans i should have a completely new look come June :fingersx:

and i TOTALLY missed/forgot or both, about a reunite meet request from leon not too long ago.

yup, meet at au are on saturday nights mainly...

there are other car groups that show at the spot every now and then. the cops too...but mostly not for us. cops are cool about our meet as long as we follow the rules.

feel free to bring ur ride and a laid back attitude.

Rich - the beach cruise is coming up next month. I'll be running around advertising for it as it's going to be more organized this time around and the venue should be much more accomodating. :bigok:

I will be inviting other mazda groups including the mocc, scm and the rx7club this year. It should be a lot of fun if everybody comes out. :D:

i didn't want to post it on FaceBook... but, when ppl start inviting everyone and their moms to the meets, there's bound to be a few ppl that show up who have bad judgement. and, it only takes one run-in with local law enforcement to ruin the fun for everyone... it's a maturity issue and not a character issue- as we all know jason and he's a decent guy. but, it's lack of judgement in this case that really screwed all of us...

I wasn't there either, but the guys said Jason did donuts in the AU parking lot for no apparent reason. And the cops somehow got tipped off... Not sure how- AU or customers maybe?

Aaron had his police scanner on, and the cops started looking for all & any cars at AU's weekly meet... (They knew we meet there weekly.) But, everyone split after Jason's fuck up... So no one got busted. But now any good will we had with SGPD has been destroyed... And it's likely they will be patrolling AU & out for blood from now on...

Did you guys decide to move the meet to Sunday Cafe or Sunday Bistro?

i also propose that we startup a fresh, new thread for the remainder of this year- ie 2010. the forum doesn't run well when individual threads get too big, which is why they suggest we make a new one each year.

but, since ray's gone, the meet location is changing- we need a new thread. where's the new meet going to be?
