So let me pretense this with I have a turboxs exhaust + the race pipe.

I dont mind the sound but im worried about meltage. Will the mazda metal shroud covers help this at all? Am I doomed to put in bigger, louder tips? What can I do?

 

tips aren't going to make it louder.

the metal shroud will help, but if it's hot enough, I don't think it's going to prevent the shrouds from going up in flames.

 

I guess ill just have to get longer tips + a Mazdamaniac Turbo
