I am confused as to which is the final production version. On Mazda's official site, they have a picture of the RX-8 next to the 787B, and it looks different from the next photo in the gallery. Which is going to be the final production car?

Right now there is no production ready car, not for viewing pleasure. There may be changes to even the red and silver ones that are floating around as previews... so I'd just be patient and wait till the launch.

Well the red one next to the 787B is the "first" RX-8 concept, after the RX-Evolv. It is 3 years old and will NOT be anything like the production version. Notice how flat the face is. Then came the Yellow one we all know and love. (See the current Avatar at the top of the page.)

But it is the new red and silver ones are far more agressive looking. There is a lot more depth to the face. And that is what we ARE getting. :D

The only changes will be different versions based on country due to various codes and regulations. The most evident differences will be in the mirrors, turn signals on the front fenders, and thier color. Some countries get orange, some get clear, and some countries don't require them.
