Is there a way to disable the OEM Rev Limiter ? 05 RX8 Thankyou, mazdatim

There may some software coming out soon that can do it (Hymee or Cobb) but not yet.
Your best bet currently is to get the RB flash which raises the redline to 9300rpm .

i have no rev limit. but peak power is at like 8700rpms.
but i take rev limiters off cars alot with this big red snap-on diagnostic/tunner it old, but i got the adapter chips that go into the plug n play under dash

why would you need to disable the rev limiter? mine goes all the way up to about 9300-9400, what could you need the extra revs for?

If for MT, the Flywheel wont come off and take someone's life with it.

If for AT, lets just hope that the TQ converter wont explode and ... :)
