Usually take 2 week to produce Jax....

21 days to ship...

I picked mine up yesterday - produced on 26 Sept. Shipped 6 Oct. If that helps your anxious wait... it is killing you isn't it. Wont be too long :)

MUST ask the dealer to put the car into priority delivery... otherwise could take up to 4 days... My car landed on Friday (3 days earlier than expected 24/10 - from shipment on 6/10). Got the car in dealer on Wed 29/10, deliver on 30/10). Not bad I guess ;)

Is it the RX8 T shirt from the drive day????

Which dealer are you getting the car from? You from Melbourne Kas? I have visit most dealer from Melbourne and I think mine was pretty average.

Yeah i'm from melbourne.

The t-shirt is from my first car, just put it on every now and then to remind myself...lol

I got mine from Werribee Mazda. Sales staff were perfect and the Service dept is excellent. Extremely helpfull.

come to think about it, i went to city mazda and ended up telling the sales man about the car. He didnt know his product. He was amazed with the car after i finished with him. He blamed it on being a part-time sales assistant.

Congrats takahashi... must admit I assumed you already had your car!

I also saw the cap photos somewhere... so at least you've now got the car to match!

takahashi

The cap photo was me too....

Kas, I brought the car from city Mazda (closest to home and work) and they are ok..

The lady that sold the car to me was very good (It was Dianne Sewell) and she is now at John Blair Honda.
I am going to get my dad to buy an Accord Euro (should con him to buy an M5 :D)

Other saleman are shithouse... I dealed with the manager Patrick who is a good man - got the floor mat and did not charge me to put the custom rego (been to another car b4) to the RX8

I am happy ... eventually

Saying that we know the car better than the salesmen - I went to Brighton and Penfold for test drives .... to kill my itch before I have the car. They know the car but not AS WELL/INFORM as us

I show him how to switch off the DSC totally - by pressing it for 7 seconds until the slippary sign turns on. He does not know that at all!!! :) Not to say do they know any difference - they just tell us to keep it on?!

Tell me takahashi

I have to know why they were making you take delivery smack bang next to the fire hose.

Did they anticipate a flaming exit from the dealership :D

It looks good on you!

cheers, Kev.

How true! Every time I go into my dealership, THEY learn something new about the car. If it weren't for me, they STILL wouldn't know about the faulty oil sump....

Takahashi - congrats.
