How do you get the new firmware? I checked the stickies and none of the links work to download and burn, also my local Mazda dealership doesnt have any, and says he has never heard of the dealerships having them, and I am under the impression that the firmware updates are free right? So can anyone give me a link to download and burn and install it, or tell me a place to order it? I can only find where you can order the maps from navtec on the Mazda site.

Firmware for what? If you mean the navigation system or the radio, you can get those here (http://www.mazdaparts.com/CategoryProductList.jsp?cat=RX-8+Garage:Electronics), but not for free.

The firmware for the DVD nav unit. Everyone says its free, its only the maps that cost.
