so something is wrong with my turbo and i've sent it out to rebuild, so my question is, do i need to get my car retune again after the rebuild or i can leave it?
some of my friends say yes, and some of them say no. so i really dont know who to trust!
any answers would be helpful.
thanks!

did you have your car originally tuned when the turbo was broken, or when it was functional? That should answer the question.

herez the thing, I bought the turbo kit used from Scott, and he said itz in working condition, so I guess it was good!
and I got my car tune right after I got the turbo kit installed!

couldn't hurt to get the tuning looked at again.

so install the new turbo and boost it. just watch the afrs before you go crazy with it.

they replace almost everything in it, all seals, gaskets, bearings, and cuplings.
so yea..i probably just watch the AFR and the boost and see if it is different then before~!

You shouldn't need to tune the car after rebuilding a turbo, unless the rebuild will be affecting the flow characteristics of your compressor/turbine
