Like many of you who have received a dent on your car. I received one on my driver side door. There seems to be a rash of these dents in particular lately, as people try to break into your car. If you receive one of these dents, you need to consider another option besides the ICBC fix that nearly cost me 906 dollars, and they can not guarantee perfect color match. They would also provide me a "courtesy" car for a few days. Don't know about you, but not driving my RX8, is not very "courteous".

Let me introduce you to "Dents Unlimited"
These folks specialize in removing dents by reversing the damage and resurrecting the quality of the original appearance. For a fraction of the cots. Like you right now, I though "It's too good to be true"

How much did I pay? 125 bucks. They fixed it in 30minutes. They also do house calls.
Hope this helps someone out. They saved me the ICBC paint missmatch for 906 dollars (better to leave the dent in haha). I took my car back to ICBC THAT SAME DAY, and they were dumb founded, with what they saw.

The only thing they said was: "Make sure there is no previous body work done to the area we are fixing, because it will crack when we fix the actual door."

Having said that, I don't think many of us have that kind of body work done.

I'm going to try and find out why ICBC doesn't pick Dents Unlimited as their first choice. They WOULD save themselves and their clients a truck load of money.

Every new RX8 owner in Vancouver should get their number, and address, they will be invaluable when new dents occur.

I'm glad I took Collin's recommendation to go to them, their work does speak for itself.

Dents Unlimited is a huge money saver. I'm sure that you'd agree that most rx-8 owners are pretty meticulous about the condition and appearance of their car. If you are available on Tues Oct. 23, I really recommend that you come out to this presentation at 7 PM. You will more than likely be needing their services in the future and it will save you hundreds like it did Gyro bot. BCRX8 club is also in the process of getting a group rate discount from them.

Today, I just had my driver door dent fixed by Dent Unlimited.

Initially, the shop owner didn't think he can repair the damage after seeing the size of the dent on my car door. He recommended that I go to a bodyshop to get it fixed. Facing with the prospect of costlier repair and having to have the car door repainted, I asked him to try fix it.

Good thing that he agreed, because he was able to fix such a large dent. Thanks Gyro_bot for posting the info here.

One word of caution! Be aware of where you park your car. Apparently, Dent Unlimited told me there were news about the lock defect on some Mazda3 models where a thief can easily break in by kicking on the driver side door. As a result, thieves may target all Mazda cars.
