Arrow: Yeah, I drive it in town from time to time. Not too much though. I do see a small handful of RX8s but they don't seem to care that they drive one. From what I can see, almost everyone here is running stock. If anything, you'll probably see me in that Savemart parking lot :D

Super easy to find it from Modesto: head west towards bay area on 120/205; in Tracy, take the Grant Line Exit from 205; at first stoplight, make a right; after a few hundred yards, look to your right and you'll see the West Valley Mall; take a right and the Sonic is right there before u get to the mall parking lot.

well all the guys from modesto that are coming and from manteca can meet me by my house and we can all drive togther make it easier. I live in manteca by 205 which all u modesto peeps will have to drive thru. I live right off freeway so its not hard to find. Let me know if u guys interested.

There is an Nice Mountain Road here in tracy which starts from tracy and ends in Livermore. I am Down with a nice drive.

The road around the Tracy mall actually makes a nice little race track. I'd rather cruie Motown or Stockton though. The old livermore pass is fun to drive too.

Some of us had to get some gas. We stop by Chevron Gas Station, then we Headed out to Patterson Pass Rd. (Very tight turns and one lane road, very narrow). Came out thru Livermore and posted there for awhile, then headed back to Tracy. We took Altamount Road back to Tracy. I just wished I had a pictures of us driving back or filmed it! We posted back @ Rite Aid and then we all went are each way....Have to do this again.

installing the accents take about a minute each , i wouldnt mess with a grill though not my style. but while youre taking off you bumper you should get some mesh to go over your oil coolers.

THe grill that I bought has matching screens for the oil coolers, AND the strip behind the rotary accent in the front :)

No jack or jack stands, but what a good excuse to get some :)

Well Finally got the Grille's install on ModestoRx8 car. Let me tell you, It was an test of our skill level. :Eyecrazy: But at the end, it sure did pay off. Then gave it an nice carwash and wax, and we were back in business. ModestoRx8 also added a little Grille to his Rotary Emblem inside the seats, which came out really good too. Just another day working on cars...haha! :lol2:

You can check it out the next time we all get together, I thought the rotary emblem on the front would get lost with the light colored mesh behind it, but the mesh is far enough back that it actually reflects some light and makes the emblem stand out MORE. :)

Silver took pity on me and is being modest, I got to learn a lot... and we got to hang out with some folks and laugh / share ideas and get stuff done.

The rattles are going to be an pain to find or fix, becuase it just vibrates everything. The only thing that made my engine from sounding like an rocket inside, was to convert it into an Cold Air design. Which I added an tubing down to the lower part of my grill. Which made the sound normal, and getting colder air! :)

Well if you ever get an chance to take apart your bumper, you will see that the stock tube piping ends right by your pass. headlight. Hot air on top, and by changing the tubing I am getting nice cold air, and air pushing into the intake filter. And it makes it not so loud.

I am going to try the same process with COLORED metal keys to see if I can make peeps keys that match their 8's. How cool would that be to pulla blue key or a red key for your 8.... I will let you know I am going to try it this afternoon.
