I was browsing around on their page today and found this.

Dont know if it would work on the LHD though.

Way to pricey though, $1200.

Im sure it can easily be replicated. Looks like they may be using the Okada coils.

That engine bay looks weird...isn't the brake slave cylinder supposed to be on the other side? Other than the reverse windshield wipers that looks like a USDM engine bay to me?!?

Looks a bit pricey for what it is.

Im sure it could be duplicated easily.

Just find a spot to relocate the coils, entend some wires and slap on the coils.

I wonder how well of a job relocating the coils to this position cuts down on heat?

I love how "RMagic" translates to "Earl Magic" on that page. If you say it out loud, it makes sense.
"Matsuda Speed" is also worthy of note.

Those are the Okada coils. Ray sent a set of those to a Greek forum member who reported good results, but it was butt-dyno, so that report is to be considered spurious until qualified.

So would you say this is more beneficial than using the HKS amplifier?

Also, Im wondering about the longevity of the coils themselves, replacing those could be pricey.

MM, I wasn't aware that our friend, Chris, had actually installed them on a running car yet. Did he post his thoughts/impressions somewhere?

I don't believe the HKS or the Okada actually do anything.
Until someone provides actual science, I think both might be a waste of money.
At this point, there are a few people running the HKS and seem happy with it, so I'd hope that some real data would become available.

Maybe I misread his comments, but it sounded like they were in and he liked them and that was the whole of his assessment.

Unless he installed them on another car I think he was waiting for his Mazsport kit to use them.

I think the Okada Plasma are too expensive, even if they did work. Also, they are what is making the R-Magic price mind-blowing.

The HKS Twin Power ignition amplifier sounds really good. More spark and for a longer duration. The point I suppose is can it really do it. It seems everyone that has bought one was happy. I never read somebody to complain after buying them, so I'm thinking there might be something to them.

There is however a possible alternative product. This is the X-Power, http://www.sun-auto.co.jp/english/english_html/pro_02/x_power.html , I'm however mystified about how it is suppose to work. It eliminates "back EMF", which helps the coil become more efficient. Unlike HKS, they are claiming direct power increases from their product. They are also twice as cheap as the HKS solution.

my ignition setup; mazdadtrix wires OKADA coils Denso plugs. Not a cheap way to go but works great on butt dyno. The coil problem is electrical heat not engine heat OKADA coils double amps lower electric heat.denso leading plugs dont build up

Does look interesting. However Mazsport already put everything together as a package and has tested their solution. So, I think the average joe would want to see a package that is ready to just "plug and play".

As for the R-magic solution, maybe the R-magic guys need to jump aboard Mazsport's train.

Price on the coils them self is $ 735.00 that's not bad, just have to relocate them yourself. We just need to know if that's the way to go for FI...

Or you can Buy Mazsports Ignition Solution that comes with everything you need for $600. And if you plan on going FI i would get them. Spark blow out is a thing of the past with this solution. Mazsport is closing in on the 400rwhp mark
