I was looking forward to some cheaper gas, but all the stations near me--Mobil, Sheetz, Citgo--only offer 89 or 93 Octane. Anyone know who offers 91 Octane?

Cali has 91 because of the added regulations, I think Nevada has 91 also. What's your problem with 93? It's better (more resistant to early detonation) than 91. 91 is the MINIMUM octane, the only reason that put that instead of 92 or 93 is so that all 50 states' gas will work. mikeb 10-07-2003, 01:40 PM cali has 91 at almost every station |
