Red seems to be the popular color here. My last car was red and I just wasn't happy with it. Thought I'd try something different this time. :)

There's a car show over here in Alexandria this weekend. I'm bringing my 8 and if any of you want to come, you're welcome :) Let me know because I have to send you the sign up papers. There will be over 200 cars and trophies.

I live in Lafayette, and am considering puchasing the RX8, but am concerned with this floding problem I keep reading about.

Has this happened to any of our Louisiana peple?

I've had my 8 for 2 months and have not had this problem. It seems that flooding is caused by cold start/stops. If you're careful about making sure that you warm the engine before you cut it off then you shouldn't have any problems. There are lots of other threads on this subject if you want to do more "research" though.

I absolutely LOVE mine more and more everyday. :D

Had a gray Rx-8 next to me this evening on the I-10 headed towards the CBD. I was in my Black single turbo 3rd Gen Rx-7. Was it one of you guys ?

I was on I-10 going from west to east(CBD) today around 2:40pm. I have a grey one.
So maybe it was me.

Nah.........def. wasn't you as I saw this guy at around 7:30 pm. But, since you are a local you should join us next time we all get together. Should be a good turnout of 8's and of course all of our 7's. A big Rotary Fiesta hehe !!

I saw a yellow RX-8 driving down Lafitte-LaRose highway....opposite direction from me today.......

Wonder if you are on here? First time I have seen a yellow one...out on the road....seen a blue one....but no others...for now....

I have a few friends from there and when I first got mine around September, a few of them said a girl up there at Tech had purchased one. I'm pretty sure they said it was red because I remember it being the same color as mine :) Is it a GT model? I've seen a girl driving a GT model on Jackson back in the day and stopping off at the Frosty Factory.
