Need some help. I leased my black RX-8 August 2. I’ve tracked this board for sometime and saw that most people began to receive there letters after September 1st. I waited until September 10th and began try in to get a hold of Mazda…(thanks for posting the phone numbers). After several attempts I finally got through and was told Mazda has no record of my car. The VIN was not in their system. I faxed over my sales contract and confirmed that Mazda received the fax. I have left a couple of message to follow-up but received no reply. When I called today voicemail told me the box was full. Now what? Who is responsible for making sure the manufacture received the VIN? Is Mazda going to do the right thing? I’ll keep you posted…..btw I’m happy with my car and plan to keep it.

call Mazda and ask to find the build date on the car. They pulled my VIN up that way.

Call the rx8 line (not the orders line) and hang out on hold for as long as you need to.

They can fax you the letter / offer... it supposedly has to be post-marked by tomorrow... so I'd call 'em today if I were you.

The rx8 line is open 8-5 PST.
