the one that talks to you in the nva system!!! i even shut the nav screen and she keeps talking. i turned the volume to 0, still talking. annoyed the hell out of my passenger who was trying to tell me about husband leaving her. the voice button seems to make her talk MORE. help!

When you're viewing the map, press the cursor which brings up a menu. The bottom item in the menu is something like "delete destinatation." Click on that. For simplicity, instead of scrolling down to that item, just scroll up and your cursor will appear at the bottom menu item. Good luck! And hey, did her husband leave her? Bummer.

well i needed to see the map since i didnt know how to get where i was going, but just wanted to turn the voice off. i think i did find it- turn voice feedback off i think.

ps heres the funny part, he is 35 (thirty five) years older than her and he left her for a younger woman. thats one spry 70 year old! :)

You can turn it off in the setup mode. I am surprised that setting the volume to zero didn't stop the sound. That is what I do when want the map but no voice. Maybe when you set the voice to zero it didn't read when you pressed enter. I have found the enter button is real sensitive to being pressed straight down. Any angle and its failes to register the press.

i think this is part of the problem. sometimes it would work and sometimes not.
i also discovered if you press enter on the main map, you can scroll to 'guidance off' and it stops.
