You take it out and send it too them and they install their updates. They have two versions - one for street and one strictly for track use. http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda4.htm Brettus 05-17-2007, 04:55 PM Burgerking do the best chips eviltwinkie 05-17-2007, 04:56 PM Pfft...hands down fish and chips work best... maxxdamigz 05-17-2007, 05:13 PM Eric Estrada was pretty good on CHiPs. Brettus 05-17-2007, 05:19 PM There was an episode where he was eating chips while cashing in his chips at the casino shaunv74 05-17-2007, 06:24 PM I like pie? Does that count? Jedi54 05-17-2007, 06:25 PM mdlnfield: You're getting smart ass answers because we can tell you did not use the 'search' feature of this forum. :D: It's okay though...here's the low down. There are currently NO chip mods for the RX-8. You'd be amazed how tricky our ECU is, it's taken YEARS to crack it and we've just gotten started. I think your best option is the Racing Beat Reflash. You'll need to send them your ecu and they'll reflash it for you. Benefits = higher redline, nicer power curve, and the oil cooler temps are lowered Nemesis8 05-17-2007, 07:04 PM Here is a chip: go to driving school first. |
