Hi all, I am interested to get a RX8. I just talked a PI recently and was told that the car would not be delivered until September or October. I sold my previous car last year and kept that number. But I must register it before September, if not I have to pay another $1200. I understand that this delay applies to all PIs. My hope of getting a one would be that PI has one in stock. Choice of color would be Stormy Blue Mica, Dark Grey or Black.

Hey tremour, the one they quoted was for Type E or Basic? Having big problems trying to discern between the two. I think a lot of PIs quoting prices only for basic model only or mis quoting Basic model prices but say its Type E. Impossible that Type E's OMV can be in the 22-28k region? Anybody can advise on this? My understanding is that the DSC is probably the only thing that discerns Type E from Basic?

I am not sure which is the "one" u are referring to.. lol

For Garage R, Basic is about 30.5-31k, Type E is abt 36K as told by June.

Yeah that's what I thought, so certainly most of the PIs were only talking about basic model and already their OMV in 20k+++ is quite a discount from its true value. Cannot be Type E less than 30k, its just not possible, even if it is, you are likely to have problems selling it next time.
