I know the topic of wheel hop is covered and I did a search, but no clear answer for me.

As I recall, the only recent mod I added that contributed to the current wheel hopping is the ACT clutch/flywheel and autoexe tower bars

Before the ACT clutch and flywheel, I had tein flex (settings at 8 both front and rear), RB sways, running 255/40/17 azenis 615s. Didnt notice much wheel hop back then.

Now after clutch/flywheel and strut bars. It "hops" on me everytime I do a hard launch. (5k launch)

Any advice? :)

Curious, IMHO its a combination of all the mods; right around 5-6.5k is where a lightweight flywheel will make its greatest gains on the hp/torque powerbands, the clutch is letting you transmit more torque/power to you rear wheels at launch, and the bars are stiffing up our suspension which is already venerable to wheelhop to begin with.

For experimentations sake I would remove the rear bar and see what happens, it would only take you 30mins, but IMHO this problem would never bother me enough to drive a car without bars even if it does eliminate the hop.

I agree, the new stronger clutch is probably putting all the power to the rear wheels. Before you put it in the clutch was probably slipping a bit and now instead of the clutch spinning your tires are spinning.

I'd also stiffen up the front shocks and soften up the rears a bit.

I'll try soften up the rear a bit and see. thanx! my friend was saying probably weather has something to do with it too. too cold road conditions reducing the traction of the tires.

Exactly the same clutch & flywheel here (no strut bars) but no wheel hop increase for me .....

check you ppf setting..
