When I put the CD on RDM and try to advance to another song the RDM automatically goes off. Any one know how to advance songs and keep Random on? I have the 6-CD changer.

I asked this on the audio section of the forum and no one responded. Maybe it is because most people don't have the 6-CD changer??

As soon as you "interfere" w/ random, the CD interprets that you now want to have manual control, thus random disengages. You need to advance to the song you wish, and re-enter random. My other car has the Sony 6-CD but in the trunk. What a PITA! I love the indash 6. It is much more convenient. ;)

I have the 6-CD changer.If you simply want to skip the current track and select the next one randomly, press RDM twice to turn it off and then back on - when you turn it on it will automatically select another track at random. (Yes, it's a PITA that you can't just use the advance button on the steering wheel.)
