I'm trying to get an idea on a trade-in value. We are working a deal on a 1988 RX-7 Convertible with 40k. It's black and has the Mazda Rims. I'm working on getting photos the customer has the MSRP and all service records and oil change receipts. We have the book value but does this vehicle bring more dollars and does anyone know if anyone that is willing to buy it.

Trade in value??? They are trying to trade it in? And you want an '88. We won't hang on to anything older than '01. Mileage sounds great, but what is the book value. We are $3k back of book on mazdas right now.
Unless you already have a buyer . . . I wouldn't touch it.
If it is a trade in, kick it from the deal.

I agree with you on kicking it from the deal. But we need it to make the deal.
