I've had my new RX8 a month and have noticed that when accelerating 'hard' I hear a rattling noise....if I turn the a/c off this doesn't happen.

I took the car in to have the dealer look at it, and they said that's normal. I don't think so.

My husband describes the noise as sounding like valves (of course this car doesn't have valves)....something is just not right.

Has anyone else noticed this noise???

Under hard acceleration the A\C cuts out to aid performance.
