Volk GT-7 sizing

Ok, need some help. I want to get the Volk Gt-7's in Diamond Black, but have received different numbers from different companies.

One company indicated sizing to be 19x8.5 front (w/42 offset) and 19x9.5 rear (w/ 47 offset).

A second company indicated 19x8.5 front (w/46 offset) and 19x9.5 rear (w/40 offset).

What makes this more confusing is I met with another member who has the GT-7's in the silver finish and his offset is 36 both front and rear.

I don't want to wheels to stick out further than the wheel wells, and I don't want to be forced to roll or cut the fenders in the rear. Which fitment is your recommendation....and are these availble, and if so, for what costs.

I have cash in hand and want these before 7-stock.

try this offset calculator. it'll tell you the internal and external clearances of your new rims. nice choice btw.

The lips on the rear were huge. He said that he has a bad time with rubbing, even with his fenders cut. He has no suspension changes, so he is having clearance issues on stock suspension.

I met him at our San bernardino group meet last month. He has several pics up on a couple of the pages.

I'm gonna get the link and add it to this.....one second and I'll be back with the link.

Here it is

there are some various pics on this page, as well as pages prior and after for those interested.

just out of curiosity, how much are tires for a 19x9.5 wheel? i agree that a big ol fat lip looks the ish, but damn dude, that's gonna be one helluva bill every couple of years! i just ordered my kdw 2's and it's gonna be about 700 bucks in the same spec's as stock for all 4. but hey, it's gonna look good on your 8, so congrats! :D
