so its looking better that atleast 2 of us will be coming.......

waiting to hear back about where you guys are staying but so far the cheapest way for us is to get a package deal that includes a room at the luxor.

Know any place that we can rent an 8 while we are there? lol

OK, things are falling into place nicely. Mrs. Tull and the kid will probably be entertained for the duration by my niece (Henderson resident), so I can spend my time with the interesting people.

I wont' have to hear "can we go now?" every five minutes.

BTW, I was actually a resident of Vegas myself, circa 1963. We lived on Milo Way, which was at that time the edge of the desert! No lie, open desert across the steet.

Nope. We're SE from Vegas and LA is SW from Vegas. It would be a bit out of the way to hook up and caravan. But we will hook up in Vegas Baby!

There will be peeps all over town where ever they get a good deal.....Last year Gil's hotel held the most. With the economy being what it is, you can get a good deal anywhere.........Hell you can rent almost any car here but I do not know if an 8 is available.

I've decided that to be able to respect myself, I have to drive the 8. So I'm planning on it, instead of the Subie. I only have about half the drive you have, but still...it's an RX-8 meet. Who wants to cruise in a Subie, Vette...any rental? What a f*cking disgrace!

Linda, drive the 8. At least you'll be able to look at yourself in the mirror afterwards.

Are you talking about for the drive to and from, or in the bar once in Vegas?

I'll have my front mask on for the trip, both ways.

Thanks Jeff, I hadn't seen that before. I better get some. My front end is not that good right now after all the high speed drives we've done up here, but at least I won't make it worse I'm curious to see how my windshield will do though... I just got a new one. The original one was really sandblasted from the drives.

I replace my windshield every year now that I live in the desert.
It really needs it more often, but I don't want to totally ****-off my insurance company.

Just great!

At the very back of the pack. Don't feel bad if we pretend we don't know you. It's nothing personal, but...you know...
