What Happens in Vegas 6 2013
Well, it came down to the wire but unfortunately I won't be making it to Vegas this year.
My grandparents are not doing to well so I'll be making a trip back to Indiana in the next month or two so sadly I've got to sacrifice this trip.
I hope everyone has a great time and with any luck I'll see many of you at Sevenstock this year!

Dood if the tire is new Give Toyo a call because that is the Proxes T1R they will help out with maybe up to 50% of the replacement... If the tire is new.. Less than 10k miles..
(i used to be the one who gave those adjustments

Well, except for the minor inconvenience of my car not having a battery (again). Hoping to resolve that today and then hitting the road this weekend. errr... next weekend.

my very first yellow top from 2005 lasted just long enough to make it out of the warranty period so I bought another one.
This one died in under 2 years and the next 3 yellow tops have all either been dead on arrival or lasted less then a month.
Speaking of which, they still owe me another Optima! I shipped back the latest replacement in October and then I ended up in the hospital so I forgot to call and have them send me another.
the latest battery is the Bosch I bought the night before SevenStock (since the "new" Optima had died in a week)
This one was sort of my fault though as I didn't unplug it and it sat for about 6 weeks and now it won't hold a charge very well.

original company was sold, so in order to make their money back
they lowered the quality of the battery.
i had a red top from 2006 til jan of this year, new battery is from auto zone.
i just cant trust optima for a new battery, they are still expensive.

Neiron: I unfortunately have to agree with Michael.
Ever since Optima came under new ownership, the quality simply has not been there. I know NgoRX8 has been through at least 3 or 4 optimas in the past 2 years as well.
I'd recommend a Duralast from AutoZone or Bosch from Pep Boys.
I'd always liked the yellow tops since they seemed to handle the power output needs of my stereo and were designed to better handle discharge but these days it just doesn't seem worth the extra $$.

Lol it all started with a blown Bose door speaker. They wanted almost $700 for a replacement so the process started. I'm about 3/4 done now. Replaced the Bose 9in 1/2 ohm (wtf lol) doors with 6.5 focal 4 ohm components added a fosgate 600r 5 channel amp to run them. Then since I felt a little light on base I added a new jl10w0 (I think it was w0). Then since I had the car ripped apart and didn't car much for the locs I replaced the head unit with a pioneer x5500bht in dash DVD unit, along with a metra kit, steering wheel control adapter and a new sirius xm tuner. Next will be the rear deck and a custom fibeglass box in one of the trunk wells and a cleaner amp rack. Still doings research on making the box and what 6x9s I want in the rear deck
