I'm planning on making a strait pipe and having the cat cut open and welded around it but I would also like to help someone who needs a good cat. So instead of ruining my cat I rather trade for an already bad one or a gutted one or mid pipe.

You don't have emissions out there? When I got my midpipe, I kept my cat and put it in the garage for when my emissions comes back up in 2 years.
