(Socal) '05 RX8 with new factory installed engine

Hi guys!

I used to be very active here and learned a great deal from RX8 Club and also made a great deal of friends here. My mother recently lost her struggle with breast cancer and I decided to take her Lexus SC400 and sell the RX8 . I've always been a meticulous owner and more importantly - a rotary enthusiast!

Here's a little bit of information about the car:

2005 Mazda RX8
Touring
6 Speed Manual
Velocity Red Mica Exterior
Cloth Gray Interior

Mileage: 62,xxx miles
  • Engine replaced by Tustin Mazda at 53,xxx miles due to low compression
  • Factory Catalytic Converter replaced by Mazda of Orange at 41,xxx miles due to the failing catalyst material
  • Motor mounts replaced by Mazda of Orange at 35,xxx miles due to material fatigue failure
  • Brake rotors, pads, and fluids have all been upgraded and replaced at 60,000 miles
  • Transmission fluid (Idemitsu 75W90) replaced at 60,000 miles
  • Differential fluid (Idemitsu 75W90) replaced at 60,000 miles
  • New NGK spark plugs from BHR replaced at 60,000 miles
  • New Factory coils replaced at 60,000 miles
  • Royal Purple 10W40 oil change at 60,000 miles
  • Idemitsu Rotary Premix with every fill up (4 oz per fill up)
  • Oil change intervals at 4,000 miles
  • NO CELs and the car runs to 9k rpm without ANY hesitation!
  • Car has been recently detailed and ready for a new home!

I have a couple of nice, tasteful modifications done to the car:
  • Removed VFAD (Still have all the components if you want to revert back)
  • Progress Technology Adjustable Front & Rear Sway Bars
  • Energy Suspension Front Sway Bar Mounting Bracket
  • NEW Centric E-Coated Rotors
  • NEW Stoptech Street Performance Brake Pads
  • EXTRA Set of OEM Rotors bedded in with the Carbotechs
  • EXTRA Set of Carbotech XP10 (Fronts) with 60% life and XP8 (Rears) with 70% life
  • Custom Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines and Stainless Steel Braided Clutch Line
  • Joyfast Yokohama 430g Shift **** with Joyfast Yokohama Shift Extender (Worked great with the AFE SS!) - the perfect weight!
  • NEW Motul RBF600 Fluid Swap for Brakes and Clutch
  • Greddy Spectrum Elite Catback Exhaust
  • Used set of 17" Volk Racing AV3 Forged Wheels (Needs to be refinished) with Dunlop tires (60% tread depth) will be provided with the deal
    • 17x8.5 (Front) and 17x9.5 (Rear)
  • OEM set of 18" Wheels with Nitto NT555 tires (80% tread depth)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things, but that's most of it.

Asking $10,500 OBO. The vehicle still has the engine warranty until 100,000 miles. I have all the paperwork for the recent services including the most recent engine swap by Tustin Mazda.

If you're interested, please call me at (714) 323-2333 if you have any questions. I don't come on RX8 Club as often so calling me would be the best way to reach me.

Here's a few photos of the car:

I sent him a offer about buying the front lip as well but he said he is not parting it out.
