hey everyone ive just been trying to find more 8's closer then L.A., SD is soo much closer but where the heck are all the 8's there!!!!!!

 

my friend drives one in UCSD. Black GT RX8 and if you ever see her, i can guarantee you wont just only look at the car. she is stunning ! trust me

well hell!!! why doesnt any meets happen in SD ??? anyone know or has attempted to have one?

 

the only time my 8 was in sd was when i went to tj to party

 

there should really be more meets down there last time i went i seen about 5 in one day.

 

Several of us 8's routinely participate in their nice east count runs several times a year.

I've been wondering the same thing. Would like to do a Sunday rally thru the SD back country..Julian..Santa Ysabel..etc. Some great roads there!!

Our cars are great for the roads back there...just a great value!!

 

I've tried setting up a run before, only one showed up... it wasn't even an RX-8.
Well, this was back in 2006 I think... so you might have better luck now. If you're seriously passionate about getting a meet together and extremely dedicated, trying setting up one yourself.

there is a big meet in san diego at fusion cafe on almost every night of the week. On tuesday's is when the AWD's and S2k's meet and other nice cars. (I go there with the suby). Address is 8038 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego from 6-9ish pm. Almost no ricers, good food and boba. Got to be there before 7 cause parking gets tight. Several rx7's show. Never seen an rx8.

bump for this.. so what about this friday the 28th at about 7pm? we'll decide a centralized place as not to far for our friends in southbay or those in oceanside. maybe the clairemont area or mission valley or even mission bay or beach. just some suggestions.

well i have just hit up the rx7 forum also and hopefully we can do a meet up with both and get some good food and bs about rotary's. their meet is so far scheduled for the 5th of Jan at fudruckers in mira mesa at 11am. i will keep posted as i can get more details.

 

i would go if it was during the school year. i go to UCSD so i can show up on days when i have class. On weekends and for breaks im back in LA so.. O.o

ok, Im down. We can meet on any tuesday at Fusion cafe since its an established car meet with excelent food and it wont be boring cause there will be plenty cars and the people are pretty mature (hardly an rice). Once we get a good showing of 8's, we can start being more exclusive if you guys want.
