WARNING: Do not goto Mazda of Alhambra

I was interested in the RX-8, drove in, the sales was at the door, we got out, sales didnt bother to approach us, after like 10 mins sales come and ask how could he help, didnt even bother introducing himself. After showing us one car, he said he had something else to do and went back into the dealer, leaving us alone outside looking by ourselves. Then I went to the office asking for a test drive, gave tons of excuses for not letting us test drive one, so my gf told the guy that we are going to another dealer. and that was it. Their poor customer service explains why they have 20 RX-8s on the lot....

I agree, Alhambra has terrible customer service.. went there to see the 8... had the same gawd awful service. The guy that helped me was named "Tom or Thomas" or something, and he was just plain rude. Repeating himself to me, as if I can't speak English... uhh... jackhole!

I bought my car at Alhambra Mazda. Funny I guess I didn't think of it until you guys said something as I wasn't looking for customer service per se. I had been looking for awhile for a dealership that would A. honor the S-plan pricing program and B. had the car I was looking for. I checked Alhambra's inventory online and the had a car that was 95% what I wanted. I called and they said they would honor the S-plan. I drove down there, test drove the car, returned to Roland Lin's office where I presented my Ford PIN and other such S-plan paperwork. They drew up the docs I looked 'em over (caught them trying to include dealer adverstising fee) signed on the dotted line and drove home in my new car just a couple of hours later. But now that I think about it they were not overly courteous or helpful. I haven't been back since the purchase as it's not really near my house or place of business but hey, i got what I was after.

I had bad experience at alhambra too. It was back then aroudn july where the 8's first arrived. The sales guy called me, hung me up, called again and hung me up again. Extremely rude. Oh, and at that time, they marked up a fully loaded to $39k.

hmm I bought my car there too. The only reason though was because they were the only ones with a base 6spd at the time. They suck though haha...
