Junior Software Engineer
Full-time, exempt position, reports to Engineering Manager
The Junior Software Engineer will assist in the development of new products and help maintain existing products for the Software Configuration Management market.

Specific responsibilities:

Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities
Test product features and help ensure complete product quality
Write functional and detailed design specifications
Document software implementation and operation
Provide technical assistance to cross-functional team members (Technical Support, QA, and Documentation)
Occasionally interact with customers, and act as company representative at technical forums
The requirements are:

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of industry experience in development required
1+ years C/C++ programming experience
Knowledge of object oriented design
Knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Unix
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be a problem solver and team player
Experience coding in Microsoft Developer’s Studio or other IDE desired
Experience with Macintosh development a plus
Knowledge of database principles and practices a plus
