taj, its not that at all. don't get me wrong, age has almost near nothing to do with it. i've been in another mazda club where there was a variety of 17-50yr olds modding miata's. lets just say that ppl showing eagerness to learn things and doing it right is pretty much what keeps the night going. and pls don't get me wrong on this... i understand u like to put ur own hands on ur own car, but pls don't mess with it if you can't do it right. and on my perspective of this car... its almost near perfect that there's little room to really improve.
and if the meet is just gonna turn out to be a "show-off" of who's got what parts...then i'm not interested. i do my own work and being an true enthusiast, there has to be a knowledge of car's or its basics at minimum. not just a "put this part on and go kinda thing."

and further more, its the eagerness in the younger crowds showing off their power mods and the unpredictable driving that makes me want to stay away from that crowd( remember the near hit incident from the caravan?)

i hope no-one gets me wrong or feel i'm coming from the wrong place. its not like that at all. far from that. i'd love to be able to stay around and share my knowledge on cars...but i know i'm not a genius on rotaries exactly, and i'm sure i can learn a few.

but guys, on a serious note, i wish we can all be a lil more serious and more careful and try to make it more about cars...i just don't want to be a victim of some stupid avoidable mishap.

 

for those who likes to consider a better location...although clubroadster holds their meet there on fridays.

krispy kreme off of azusa in the puente hills mall. it has been mostly successful meets with no cop harassment, and none that i know of. its a safe spot, and even the joe's crab shack across welcome our presence. the manager once even came out and offered a group car photo shot and offered discounts...don't know if any deal went thru, but its a safe spot.

so show of hands guys, who's interested? i can see what i can set up if a get a few

okay so yesterday i went 2 blockbuster in rosemead... and they wur having a meet thurr.. i saw a yellow, red, silver, and blk 8 thurr, 3 S2000, 3 Evos, and like a million 350.. i talked 2 one of the guys they said they have it every wednesday.. all the guys seemed purdy chill... so imma be hittin up that place every wednesday.. so if any of u guys wanna check it out jus hit me up for me info!!!

A Ford Fusion, the mileage is GREAT!
It has a really cool "XXX until Empty" display.
They gave me half a tank when I rented the car and the display reads "210 Miles until Empty." I wish the 8 had that... So that means I can get 400+ Miles per tank!

I'm going to take a picture of the display, it's freaking awesome!
