Anyone up for Saturday the 8th? Its only a weeks notice but I figure those that are dedicated frequent RX8ClUB at least that much. It will be a bit more of a spirited run.

Angeles Crest has been proposed, though it is a bit of a drive. If we could rally at least 10 rotoheads it would be that much cooler, count me as one of ten. who else can make it?

The Dually is $49.99, the Dipstick is $29.99. You might want to try the Dipstick first, I'll bring both! What color for Dually second light?

Where's a good meetin' spot? Is there a parking lot at the base of Angeles Crest? Colorcode, can you chime us on this?

Do you have Blue for the Dually? That would be great. I know that their is a Shell Station right at the Hwy 2 exit of the Hwy 210. As I remember it has a large parking area around the station.

Lebren, maybe Angels Crest is a bit to far for everyone. Theirs Little Sycamore off of Mullholland. I have not done it but it looks pretty twisty

It looks like there have been some views since my post last night! I hope it results in a good size crowd today. Remember to check tire pressure and fluid levels, see you there!

Bumming Greatly

Sorry Lebren I didnt see your Friday night post until Sat afternoon. Hope you guys had a blast. Looking forward to next rally/run. Would like to come by and purchase the dually or maybe have a BBQ at my place (Simi Valley) with the group after a run. A Sunday run so Sabory and other Sat working folks can do it.

It was a great time, had a lot of fun! Sunday's are good, also I know there's probably a handful of people out there that want to go but are not keen on posting on the forum. I don't like to disclose the routes for several reasons. Also, our driving is always under safe conditions.

Hey! I live up in oxnard, Just got my RX8 2 weeks ago. And my oil is milky(aka coolant in oil) under 100K, so still under warranty, but is the oxnard dealer ok to get my engine replaced or should i go to Thousand oaks? Thanks!

have you done any research on the rx8? read through the forums or mazda bulletins with this description yet? if the car is driving fine there could be 2 possibilites (if you pm me your full vin # and miles on the car and i can check how much factory warranty you have remaining) 1st possibility could be if you have a pre 2006 model you may be experiencing blow by which there is a revised hose design that can correct the milky oil substance (it will not affect the cars performance at all) 2nd could be it is totally normal and dependant on how you drive the car..

^^ true, they will not replace your engine for that.
it was part of a bad design that there is a fix for.

What do I need to do to fix the hose problem? do you have access to the warranty program? I have to add my info into the "system" according to the mazda rep...

Thanks already for the help.
If any of you have the stock exhaust surrounds(see pics) I am putting on a stock exhaust on Saturday(I hate the exhaust that was on my car) and i would like to make the rear end look stock again. Also I am getting rear lowering springs(about 1 inch drop) but I still need front springs. Not in any hurry but if you have some lying around, and will sell them for cheap give me a call...or email

Also you might see me rolling around Oxnard, if you see this car its me...

Thanks again for all your help!
