Just wondering if you're on the boards, I saw a silver MS 8 with some nice pipes, I was in the titanium grey MS 8. Just saying what's up, and sweet ride man! Any other 8s in that area?

 

hey cat, do you ever take melrose in the a.m. (around 9:30am-ish) heading west- past fairfax, lacienega, and san vicente? i've seen a MS 8 just like yours during my morning commute a few times. (i remember the yellow dealer rear license plate.) is your car new, or did u just not install a rear license plate?

 

hey man thats me, haha. I work around there so I'm always stuck in Melrose traffic. Yeah about the plates, I bought the car about 6 months ago and never put the actual plate on until last week.. I'm just really lazy haha :P

 

hahahaha. cool beans. guess my memory is pretty good still.

that's my daily route as well. my 8's 6-months old too, but i only drive it into work maybe once a week- mainly to avoid valet parking in our building. (if i get up early, i can get a good space and park myself.)

Nope, and I recently received a ticket for it to lol, but I'm not caving in. I'm just not going to park it on the street at work anymore.. i really don't feel like drilling holes into the MS bumper and putting a plate on

I think its kind of ridiculuous that on any given day there will be 20 cars with no front plates on the street, and i'm the only one that gets ticket. In fact today I came back and received another ticket from the same meter maid.. this time for parking too far from the curb.. wtf?

 

yah, it's pretty much dumb luck i guess. i got let go w/ a warning recently also... 10 out of the 12 rx8club members at the last malibu cruise meet all don't have front plates either. the ones that did just got tired of getting ticketed for it. i hate to admit it but, i get all paranoid about getting pulled over sometimes... LOL it's really a dumb law if u ask me... :P <sigh>

 

hey catspaw... spotted u again this morning cruising down melrose. i was in the blue beamer zooming around all the slow trucks & rubber necks... hahahaha. how often do u wash ur car, because it's like super clean... even w/ a car cover, my 8 still gets a bit dusty... anyways, if once in a full moon u ever see a black 8 on that same route in the a.m., it's prolly me.

 

I have a silver ms 8 and in the am (~8:30) I head down beverly then cut over to 3rd to doheny...haven't seen any 8s yet. I put the plate on after getting a ticket. The buck tooth kills the look

 

there is usually a titanium gray 8 parked outside the gas station across from starbucks near the corner of Beverly & LaBrea... Where'd u get your ticket Dookie?

 

West LA. It was a pain in the *** to get it taken care of.

 

Haha I try to clean my car at least twice a month, but i've been getting lazy lately... so I've been going to a hand car wash that does it for like $9 on thursday lol
