Its $3.11 here for premium. I'm sure by the weekend it will be at least $3.15. This is getting out of hand. I'll need a new job soon just to afford gas.

Do you guys use 87 octane in your 8s? I've been using 91, but with the current trend of prices i'm thinking of bumping it down lol.

Octane booster is actually gonna make your gas prices rise...

I also saw today for 91 near my area was 2.97 or something like that. By 12:00pm it was 3.07, and by 5:00pm it was 3.14!!! OMMGMADSFJLASKFJAS

why are people putting in anything lower than 91?? rotary motors produce a lot more heat than conventional piston motors. anything lower than 91 is more volatile causing detonation. you're worried about the gas prices being high...just wait til you screw something up in the motor. octane boosters don't do ****...neither does mixing 87 and 89. just use premium like the car asks for...what's the point of driving around in an expensive sports car using gas made for economic cars??

premium around my way is as high as $3.29...and it's still rising. looks like i gotta call the whambulance for some of you...

dont get me wrong, i ALWAYS use 91. by the way, if you take the 91 freeway and exit pioneer, there is a shell right by the freeway exit. they have the cheapest price on gas i've seen.

not really...some folks, like me, have no problem running 87. If you read the manual it says that 91 is recommended but lower octane will work with reduced performance.

I run SUPER in mine all the time I dont give a rats a$$ about the prices. If I was worried about that issue then I would have bought a METRO instead of the SHINKA. Last week I paid 2.66 for SUPER now this week its 2.95 in hawaii on base, which is the cheapest on Oahu. I love my car and she loves me so I feed her the best! :D

Like the above said, when you bought the car, we had to expect the cost of gas would be sick... it is a gas guzzler to begin with. I don't mind the 91 prices... yet. Not until it surpasses other nations like Europe. :P 7-8 dollars...
