Heading through Jerome AZ with 5 rotaries on Sunday and passed a Sunlight Silver with reflective windshield banner heading up Mingus Mountain. Anyone here on the forum???

 

I saw the same car heading out as I was heading in. They waved but I had one hand on the wheel and the other on my gears; I wasn't letting go of either to wave back GREAT to see you and hope you'll join our next group ride!

 

As far as I know there are only 2 forum members in AZ with silver (I've been trying to compile a list)

They would be AZ_Lynx (RCCAZ member) and RXAnna

I saw a yellow headed north when I was heading back into phoenix around deer valley area also.

It's me (RCCAZ 1 = Tim). I think you misunderstood my thread. I'm trying to FIND the owner of the silver 8. Just pointing out that our group passed them on the way into Jerome. I think you thought that I was the silver looking for our group. Sorry if this is getting confusing...

Remember I got separated from y'all in Prescott? Well I went on to Mingus Mtn, Jerome and Cottonwood. When I was on the twisties that eventually turn into Jerome, a silver passed me going the other way. They waved at me but I couldn't wave back. At the time, I wasn't sure if it was someone in our group or not. But based on your opening post, it sounds like it wasn't someone with us. So I was saying I saw them too and hope they'll find this forum, join RCCAZ, and come along on the next group drive

No that was me!!! I drove all the way out there to drive that stetch of road from Jerome to Prescott. Awesome drive!!!

However, I did overheat my breaks and clutch, and about halfway through my CEL came on. I definitely over drove the car. My Meridian GPS showed I averaged 64 MPH in the moutains!!!
