Well, i saw the other spotted threads but it was in southern california so i decided to put a spotted thread for the people up north.

Well on the saturday (jan. 14) at around 8:30ish pm, i spotted a sunlight silver rx8 on the 880 freeway toward san jose. Stock looking and ran along side with this person till stevenson exit.

Secondly, coming home from work today at around 11pm, saw a winning blue rx8 in the parking lot of krispy kreme in union landing. No other details.

I drive a winning blue rx8 with splash guards mostly around the union city area and fremont area. Hope to see you all around and go to the meets and everything.

I keep spotting a silver and also a red rx8 on 101 everyone morning around 10:30 ish heading 101 south, i'm usually in my beater though.

 

I'm in a TiGray and I'm usually going north on the 101 from San Jose to Palo Alto. I saw one RX-8 park next to me in a Palo Alto garage, but I didn't have any paper on me to leave a note. By the time I came back, he was gone. It was a Winning Blue one if anybody has gone up there in the past week.

 

im usually going north too to s.s.f but around 10:30 ish. Haven't been driving my 8 at all, but since my beater went down i'm going to now until I find another beater car. Ack I hate driving in the rain.

 

I too drive a 2004 Velocity Red with GT package in The City, however, not quite so often, since I take public transport most of the days. On weekends, I typically drive down 101, 85 and 280 on my way to Cupertino and back. I usually wave to other RX8s when I see them.

 

I saw a red 8 this past Sat. Followed it from 580 in Castro Valley, all the way across the San Mateo bridge. Thought it was going to the meet, but I never saw it arrive.

 

Spotted a blue rx8 on Geary around 12:30a last nite. Gave you the thumbs up. I drive a black rx8.

 

Saw two TiGray RX8s at Oak Tree Mazda yesterday when I was picking up my TiGray RX8... either that or a really bad case of deja vu.

 

i spotted a black 8 on 101 by san mateo, we waved you sped off and exited. You got clear corners and a out of state plate.

 

Saw a silver rx8 on 880 sometime last week going toward san jose. It had a spoiler and clear corners but the guy never looked when i passed him or he passed me. Well, if you're on the forum, that was me in the blue rx8! Haha, it was in the morning. Then i took the stevensons exit and took the back road to auto mall parkway, saw a either strato blue rx8 or brilliant black rx8 with aftermarekt front bumper i believe, it was parked at a building and i guess that person works there. Well, yeah.

 

saw as sunlight silver on the 101 north tonight at 10:30 in San Mateo. license plate started w/ 5P.

 

I see this Red RX-8 on 85 every morning before or during 9AM. Two kinds: one looks stock and the other with an MS front bumper. I've seen the drivers and none of them look familiar to me.

 

^^^you don't look familiar to us anymore either. you need to make it to the next meet to change your MIA status.

 

HAHA, there have been a lot of no shows lately. Hopefully things will pick up since we are getting closer to Spring.

 

That's funny. I have been very flakey lately. I don't think I've been to a meet since last October. There's always something on the weekends that stops me.

BTW, any of you been mountain carving lately? I went to Woodside (84) / La Honda route last Saturday. It was raining hard and a red 3 series was hot-tailing me. Went down to Capitola through highway 1, and then back up using highway 17. I don't know what I was thinking, the entire drive was soaked and foggy. I'm definitely more impressed with my KDW's after that drive.

 

Okae, the rx8 down lawrence st isn't a strato blue or bb rx8, its a nordic green with i believe a mazdaspeed front bumper parked in front of a building that has a label of "pier 1" i think or something close to that. It does have a clear corners and excpet for the front, it has the appearence package. If you're here, i'm the blue rx8 that was in front of that building checking out your ride, very very nice, i was hoping you saw me and would come out but then i felt kinda dumb and just got in my car and left for rotary extreme. Also, theres a red rx8 with strakes, aftermarket rims, i believe lowered and with clear corners. Also, it has the mazdaspeed tow hook on the rear bumper. I know its auto and it got a radar on it, if you're here, whats up! I know this person goes to Ohlone college so yeah.

 

I think I saw Allen's car (HaloX) at the Great Mall yesterday. Looked good bro!

 

lol I was there at the great mall yesterday on Friday with my girl! Didn't get a chance to peep your ride out though Moostafa. Maybe at the next meet.

 

Saw a blue rx-8 today this morning on geary. You had some silver asa rims. I was in my black rx8.

 

I saw a yellow rx8 last night round 11pm at san jose heading south on 880. It had a gt spoiler with no appearance package. I was in my red truck.

 

spotted HALOX 101 heading south by millbrae-san mateo I was in my beater but heard your exhaust and looked and there you were... driving your 8 in the rain

 

LOL, gotta love the part "but heard your exhaust and looked and there you were". Its actually sadly ironic that your car is probably twice as loud as his right now.

 

hehe, yeah dude its so loud its not even funny... I kinda like sounds real mean especially at idle but im not trying to get pulled over especially since I live close to milpitas.
