Hey Everyone,

I just setup a new yahoo group for South Bay RX-8 owners (Northern California). We had a fun first official meet last Saturday. I was talking about getting a freebee forum up at our lunch at Dave and Busters but I think everyone would kill me if advertisement popped up everywhere using the free stuff. My hope is that if we get enough members in our humble club that we'll be able to afford a nice little forum of our own in the near future.

So this is my first attempt at getting something going for the web to bring us locals togeher. We'll be listing our monthly get togethers, events, activities...yada yada..ya know the good stuff.

Hi there.. I tried to join but the link doesn't work or should I say Yahoo states it's not available.

 

It's working fine for me...Yahoo isn't always the most reliable thing. Give it a few and let me know if the link becomes available. Anyone else trying please let me know if you're having the same problem as well.

 

I forgot what everyone looks like .. and I forgot their "real names". I think we need a face-to-realname-to-nickname mapping for the memory impaired like myself

i second that. i'm just naturally bad with names. it's nothing personal.

so, since I don't own a digi-camera .. I'm probably have to rely on the club meetings to get one in for this .. maybe a standard "mug shot" of our faces or should we just post it on rx8club and make it sticky? Have a non-conversational thread on this? Or no? any thoughts?

I think it's a fun idea...but not everyone is going to want t post thier pictures on the site. If anyone would like to, please feel free to add to a folder I made called members pics.
