i seriously hate dealing with idiots...


quick synopsis of what i just dealt with...

Me: ok, so due amount is 10k - are you going to be sending the check today?
AP: yes.
Me: ok...

*fast forward 1 week*

-check is received but in the amount of $6800.00-

*I call back*

Me: We received the check and posted it.
AP: So why are you calling me?
Me: because it was for $6800
AP: oh well that's not correct...
Me: ...clearly...

*fast forward 2 days*

-another check received - amount = $2800



-I call back AGAIN-

Me: We just received the second check
AP: was there anything wrong this time? (sarcastic laugh after statement)
Me: ...yes - you're short about $400.
AP: Well i have no idea what's going on. The owner came up with these amounts. He's out of the country until next week. It should add up.
Me: That's strange.....because it's not...








I have come to the realization that this is probably two things...

1. A COMPLETE AND UTTER MORON WHEN IT COMES TO MATH

or

2. A broke *** that's trying to skimp out on paying up...




either way...i'm so over the whole 'dealing with the middle man' bullshit. If you don't know what the **** is going on - then STFU and pass me along to someone that actually knows what's going on or at least higher in the gene pool.

I deal with a lot of customer service people over the phone every day. God are most of them stupid, but I flirt with the hot sounding ones

 

Initial observations of Canada...

70% of the women in my age range are attractive. Even the female construction workers are hot.

The air is cleaner than Ive ever breathed.

The people are freakishly nice. I left my phone on the shuttle bus and before I even got a room the front desk called the shuttle and they came back just to drop off my phone.

Then the driver refused to take a dollar for turning around but I talked him into it.

I'm about to take an adventure around downtown Victoria to take some pictures and breathe the clean air. The sun is shining its 60ish out...

I might just move here.

I'm over my job, I was going to ask for a raise until I realized the company is **** and isn't worth it. The guy next door to me with the same position makes $15.50/hour, and he thought we all got paid the same (same responsibilities, same company, etc).
