SEphy: iono - i'm a bit biased. There might be a good reason why they didn't put that exhaust out for mass production. Perhaps quality?? Couldn't hear the vid tho. Your decision tho
J03: yeah man, n' i need to meet up w/mike to check out the intake. I also need to change my oil, swap out my brake pads and rotors (yeah baby, finally puttin' on my EBC's) heh

sephy: don't do it.
wait until you have your RX8 and then start buying stuff.
Besides, it's probably too loud and I'm usually not a fan of buying prototype parts as the fitment isn't always great and sometimes there's quality issues.

dude I mastered the HKS exhaust while I had it. I could make it sound low if I wanted. Especially if there was a cop next to me.

okay...I'll hold out...
thanks for the input guys!
and yes 'laze, I agree, driving the car softly seems a bit....pointless for having the car...
WE'll see I just didn't wan the usual borla (too quiet) and the RB which EVERYone has....

if you're having to "deal with the loudness" of your exhaust, you bought the wrong one.
My exhaust setup (RB header, RP cat, RB catback) is exactly the way I wan itt; not too quite, not too loud.
if it was too loud, I'd change it instead of having to put up with it.

Sephy: you're eventually going to come to a point where the noise will eventually lose it's luster.
I used to be obsessed with having loud exhausts but even now i wish my car were more quiet n' all i have is a midpipe n' oem exhaust lol.
one of my favorite exhaust setups has to be Ngo's.
such a quiet car when cruising but w/the amount of power he can lay down who cares about noise?? lol.
One thing i gotta say tho - i think i'm becoming more of a fan of the rotary's high pitched whine. Not saying i dig the high pitched whining the midpipe causes but an exhaust out that doesn't dilute the rotaries natural sound is pretty nice imo - It's like no other car. At the drift event, i could tell which cars were rotaries n' which were not. I like the sound of being unique. Not everybody is gonna like it but everybody will know what it is...
