What's the concern with Vacuum? Put a screen on there and see what happens. Oh, be sure to use a stainless steel material. Not cloth.

i don't know about the vacuum, but it should straighten out the air going through the intake and maybe make the air more uniform. it could be the reason for your messed up idle.

oO yeaah and theres a nipple under the throttle body, did you close that up?
when removing the stock airbox you remove that hose coming from there...jw

So yeah your lip looks pretty good and all don't get me wrong but it really doesn't do anything unless you are going over 170 mph
