ok so after messing with my intake some more and trying to fab a sort of nipple to plug the vacuum hoses to it seems when I do plug them in my idle is much worse. And I am also getting a P0171 code. Someone help me out with this I wanna get this thing workin right

maybe its your MAF getting all screwed up?

 

Well the situation was better when the hoses were not plugged in. so I think I just need to work that stuff out somehow.

 

that's really strange though.

my guess is the hoses are messing up the air and messing up the MAF..
i dont know much, so i dont know if the hoses are necessary.

I just can't wait for SevenStock to see ALL of us representing the SoCal RX-8's and having some fun.

yeaah me neither! it looks like theres a lot of us younger guys finally getting our rx8s together. we've made a lot of progress over the last few months! next sevenstock should be epic. especially with a spike of new rx8 owners...it should be bigger than last and after last sevenstock maybe the rx8 can continue to make a statement and gain a lot more respect in the rotary community.

 

I really hope so Nikko, nothing pumped me up more then standing in the SS Courtyard and hearing them say, "this is definitely the year of the RX-8"



just wait till they get a load of us THIS year...
