Just an FYI our troops get far more training than any haji ***** *** f@gs, some of our troops might be idiots but the training is solid. The only reason we are having issues with Afghanistan is they use IED'S all day long which take hours to remove and clear. they will fire a missile off run and hide. they will call a bomb via cellphone and have it explode. gun to gun in combat US will win any battle. We have some of the best training out there, during Vietnam we didn't. Now the training has gotten better. As for the veteran comment let me know how you feel after a cycle in Afghanistan.

P.S. Aren't you signed up for the air force?

^this reminded me of a movie i just saw.

Have you guys ever heard of the movie called: The Hurt Locker


It has to do with a bomb squad out in afgan and it goes thru their missions. It's not a documentary though, just a normal movie but def a good watch. After watching that movie, i have so much more respect for those guys.

 

Aye, that was a good movie.

The guy likes to collect bomb parts that nearly kills him, my favorite part was when they were pinned down by this sniper and the black guy had to stay still for hours.

 

John: HELL YEAH! Dude that movie was intense at some parts. That one bomb that was in the car was sickkkkk!! I was on the edge of my seat; srsly

 

That was like near the beginning of the movie, lol. The bomb and the car where it caught fire, that part was awesome.

 

I remember that there was a part where he pulls up like a web of wires and revealed like 12 bombs or something, I was like "OH **** SON!"

 

yeah there was so many good parts of that movie.

after the movie tho...i thought about my job and then i thought about his job....mannnnnnn **** that guy's job... i couldn't do that ****...

I notice that the movie didn't get much advertising so not many people knows about it.

JOhn: yeah, that movie went kinda under the radar. Such a good freakin' movie tho - probably one of the best i've seen in a while. Good actors and good story line IMO.

 

Hmmm... I can't seem to find the sniper scene on youtube anywhere, that was my favorite part of the movie...
